If you notice that your Space has a leak, puddling, or other water issue, then please contact Sharespace Support immediately. We encourage our Hosts to regularly check on the Space and items in order to catch any potential water damage as quickly as possible. Renters are also prohibited from storing anything that may leak or otherwise cause liquid damage to either other Renters' belongings or the Host's Space.
If the liquid is stemming from your Space (burst pipe, condensation pooling on the floor, etc) then your own homeowner's or renter's insurance will be responsible for damage to Renter's items. The sooner you tell us, the sooner we can get their things out, and the sooner we can solve the issue.
If the water is stemming from a Renter's belongings then Sharespace will cover cost of damage to your Space and other Renter's items. We need you to alert us as soon as possible to minimize damage to the mementos and possessions of our Renters.
