Each Host's space is different, so you'll know the best way to keep Renter's items separated. There's several best practices other Hosts have found worked well for their spaces.
- You can use painter's tape to mark the area being used by a Renter
- You can place sticky notes or stickers to indicate which boxes belong to a Renter
- You can place a piece of plywood to separate one Renter's items from another
Whatever method you choose to use, make sure to discuss it with your Renters when they move in so both you and the Renter are clear on how items will be kept in your Space.
The final step: always make sure to take photos of the items from multiple angles once they have been moved in to your Space and send the photos to your Renter using the Sharespace phone number (415)880-5588. This serves as the inventory of the Renter's items that you're storing and where they are being stored.
